Project Udan

In order to provide high-quality vocational training to educated unemployed youth in Gadchiroli district, the Gadchiroli Police Department, through the Police Dadalora Khidki, launched the initiative 'Project Udaan' on March 3, 2023. Under this initiative, the Employment Skill Institute, Gadchiroli has been registered under the name of the Police Superintendent's office. Through this institute, vocational training is being provided to unemployed youth. • Unemployed youth in Gadchiroli district are being given opportunities for skill-based training in fields like nursing, electrician, JDA, hospitality, security guard, as well as self-employment training in fast food, beauty parlour, tailoring, two-wheeler mechanics, pickles and papad making, poultry farming, goat farming, and duck farming. • Special efforts are being made through Project Udaan to encourage sports players in volleyball, kabaddi, marathon, archery, and athletics, providing them with opportunities. •Through the Employment Skill Institute under the Police Superintendent's office, Gadchiroli, youth are being trained as software developers, web developers, pre-police recruitment training, vehicle driver training, and security guard training. So far, 13105 unemployed youth have been provided with employment and self-employment training through Project Udaan
