Work Conducted Through PROPAGANDA CELL & PRO (Anti-Maoist)

In the early stages, Maoists used various meetings, street plays, songs, etc., to spread their extremist ideology to the general public and attempted to lure common people onto the path of violence. In response, the Gadchiroli Police Force initially undertook activities like cultural troupes, village visits, cloth banners, and posters to create awareness among the public and expose the true face of the Maoists, preventing people from falling for their misleading tactics. With the increasing use of social media, the Anti-Maoist Propaganda Branch now operates as follows:

1. Creating posters, videos, and short films using innovative ideas to spread awareness and promoting them widely through social media.
2. Creating “Gadchiroli Files” (digital animation posters) and promoting them through social media.
3. Managing the official social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) of the Gadchiroli Police Department.
4. Creating table calendars and Gond-themed calendars showcasing the strength and bravery of the Gadchiroli Police.
5. Preparing foundation stones and plaques for various developmental project inaugurations.
6. Maintaining the memorial built in honor of martyred soldiers and displaying timelines of various encounters at the memorial site.
7. Creating banners for various programs organized by the Gadchiroli Police Department.
8. Creating cloth banners and using them for awareness campaigns in extremely remote areas.
9. Using cultural troupes to conduct anti-Maoist awareness campaigns during weekly markets in villages located in remote areas.

Work Conducted Through Public Relations Office

1. Representing the Gadchiroli Police Department by communicating and sharing information with media and other stakeholders.
2. Organizing press conferences.
3. Preparing and distributing newsletters (print/digital media) regarding the activities of the Gadchiroli Police Department.
4. Planning and hosting various programs organized by the department.
5. Resolving issues and providing assistance to the families of martyred personnel.
6. Publishing advertisements and official e-tenders on occasions like Diwali, World Tribal Day, and Gadchiroli District Foundation Day.
