Functioning of BDDS:
B.D.D.S. established on dated - 25/11/2005 in Gadchiroli District Police force at Headquarter Gadchiroli & sub Headquarter Pranhita B.D.D.S. search & defuse the IED & Landmines Planted by naxal. Anti sabotic checking is done by this squad for the V.V.I.P. Movements, road opening etc. B.D.D.S. also provides and conducting training and seminars to the Police Officers and employees regarding the IED, Landmines & Various switched land by the Naxal with the case studies & also directions are given to them what to do if found any suspicious thing in the naxal operational duties.
B.D.D.S. consist of the experienced Police officers & technicians witch actually works on the field who has detected & defused various IED & Land mines.
